Pacifiers CDC requires pacifier to be cleaned once a day at center, and then sanitized at home. We wash pacifiers with the 3 part wash sink. We suggest you bring several pacifiers. We also suggest sending them home daily
Nutritional Guidelines for Lunch & Snacks
We ask that Parents bring their child’s lunch and snacks. We have a refrigerator for the snack and lunch items. Four hour day is 1 snack time, full day 1 lunch and 2 snacks. We promote healthy choices, on occasion we will have a birthday and have a sweet treat for them. If there are unhealthy snacks sent with the child I will substitute and return food item home.
Lunch
-In order to be in compliance with the certification rules of the Child Care
Division of the State of Oregon, all lunches need to include the following:
at least
1- One serving of meat or meat alternative. Examples: meat, poultry, fish, cheese, cottage cheese,cheese food, cheese spread, egg, peanut butter, soy nuts, peanuts, cooked dry beans .
2 – Two servings of vegetable, (carrot sticks, cucumber pieces, raw broccoli, celery sticks, etc.).
3 - Two servings of fruit.
4 - One serving of grains or bread or bread alternative.
Livings Stones Center will provide milk for lunch.
For your child's safety, please cut up round food items that can be a potential choking hazard.
Snacks
-We have mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks. Each snack should consist of food or drink from at least two of the Basic Food Groups. Refer to the list in the lunch paragraph. All snacks should include juice (100% fruit juice), or milk. A snack shall not consist of only two beverages

Cheese-its Wheat thins Cheese & crackers Yogurt cups Fish cheddar crackers Graham crackers
