Sallie Reggiani-Johnson
My love is family, food, animals and of course Jesus. .
I am a wife, a mother of 1 son and 2 step daughters and 2 step grandchildren. My love for animals has been fulfilled, by always having around 25 animals to take care of on my God given 7 acres. I was able to full fill my love for food by becoming a dietary manager for 24 years in two hospitals. I spent 14 years at Providence Hospital as dietary manager, but heart had always been for children and teaching them everyday life skills.
My 1st volunteer job for children was child care for a recovery class at Table Rock Fellowship church. I have worked with Bridges program through on track mentoring single women w/ children. I volunteered at Wilson school in the kindergarten class. My husband and I volunteered with the 5 year old class at TRF kid’s church for 2 years. I also helped with the smart reading program at local elementary schools.
2010 I changed my career to teaching children, I knew this was my calling. I went back to school to earn my AA in Early Childhood Education. I was asked to open a preschool for TRF in January 2010 soon to be named Living Stones Preschool. TRF closed the preschool in July 2010 due to low enrollment for such a large congregation. I took over ownership and moved the school to the Central Point location.
May of 2013 I opened up a second location in Medford to serve the need of infants and toddlers. Both schools has grown to serving 64 families now and we have been blessed to have shared a part of 159 children that have been enrolled at Living Stones Preschools. I am so proud of our schools and teachers and I know this was truly my calling to teach children and be a support for their families.
