cleaning schedule posted in all rooms
toys mouthed toys are immediately put into the need to be washed bin. To be washed rinsed and sanitized at end of day.
all toys left on shelfs sprayed with sanitizer.
all stuffed animal sprayed as well but washed inn wash machine monthly
Objects intended for mouths teething rings, pacifier must be cleaned and sanitized between uses. pacifiers will be washed at end of day
Bed sheets and blankets cleaning Parents take home weekly. LS sheets and blankets washed weekly.
Training
Staff was given all the cleaning schedules and posted in each room.
Staff was trained to follow cleaning do either at end of day or at nap time. Vacuum and mopping is done at end of day.
These guidelines are posted on the LS website as well as emailed to parents.
New families are requested to read the LS website prior to enrollment. Hard copies are available of handbook

IF staff show a concern they will talk with family and notify the director
Guideline Family Engagement
Families are encourage to come in class to drop and pickup children and communciate with staff. If only one staff present please be considerate as the teacher is looking at the children and may not have eye contact with you.
Guideline Food and Nutrition
LS children bring all their own food.
staff to closely watch all children meals to make sure their food is not touching another child’s food or food sharing
allow breast feeding parents an area to breast feed
Guideline Hand washing and General Hygiene
All staff and children to wash hands for at least 20 seconds.
a. before and after eating, preparing food and bottles
b. before administering medication
c. after toileting or assisting with toileting
d. before and after diapering
c. after wiping nose or sneezing *
e. upon coming in from outside *
f. If staff are moving between stable rooms *
g. after sharing of materials, toys ect. *
* hand sanitizer is allowed where * are if alcohol content is 60-95 % It is not Living Stones practice to use hand sanitizer over washing hands
Make hand washing materials easy accessible to each stable group
Training Posters are posted at each hand washing sink to show how to wash hands. All staff are given these guidelines to review.
